Shakespeare day was held on the 19th of November 2024, organised by the English literary club. It was an event exhibiting the wonders of the English industry as well as an opportunity to give the students an insight about the timeless and exceptional works of William Shakespeare.
All four School houses were competing against each other to determine which house presented a more well played representation of Shakespeare's work.
The day began with a presentation about Shakespeare and his works, demonstrating how his journey to literature sparked and how he fell in love with writing plays. The presentation had also covered Shakespeare's influence on the English industry and how he had touched the hearts of many people who share the same interests within the world of literature. Showcasing the key aspects of how much he has contributed to the English language.
This helped the students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the playwright before the plays by the four houses unfolded.
