Shakespeare day was held on the 19th of November 2024, organised by the English literary club. It was an event exhibiting  the wonders of the English industry as well as an opportunity to give the students an insight about the timeless and exceptional works of William Shakespeare.

The Daybridge International Sports Day 2023 was a grand success, fostering a sense of unity, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the students. It was a day when athletes showcased their skills, houses displayed their team spirit, and everyone celebrated the values of unity and excellence. As the sun set on the SDS Jayasinghe grounds, the memories of this unforgettable sports day would stay with the Daybridge International School community, serving as a reminder of what can be achieved when we come together in the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.  

The prefect induction ceremony 2023 of Daybridge International showcases the embodiment of leadership, responsibility, and excellence. This year promises a cohort of exceptional individuals who will carry the torch of leadership with grace and dedication.

Over the past two decades, Daybridge International has become synonymous with excellence in education. The school has consistently achieved academic milestones, producing students who excel in various fields and go on to pursue higher education at prestigious institutions worldwide. It recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand concert that showcased not only the students' talents but also the vision and dedication of the school's founder, Mrs. Iromi Weerasinghe. She envisioned an educational institution that would not only impart knowledge but also instil values, nurturing well-rounded individuals capable of making a positive impact on society. Her unwavering commitment to this vision has been the driving force behind Daybridge International's success. Her emphasis on academic rigour and holistic development has created a legacy that continues to inspire and shape the lives of students.

The much-anticipated Daybridge International Annual Prize Giving 2023 was an evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration. This year, the ceremony was held on the 22nd of  October bringing  together the entire Daybridge family to honour the exceptional achievements of our students. Mrs. Iromi Weerasinghe, our revered Directress, graced the occasion with her presence. Her leadership and dedication have been instrumental in guiding Daybridge International to achieve the highest standards of education and values. Her commitment to fostering an environment of holistic development was evident throughout the ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Mr. Harsha Fernando (A.A.L) (M.B.A from Nanyang Technological University Singapore) (L.L.M from King’s College London). Our Directress, Mrs. Iromi Weerasinghe, accompanied the chief guest along with the members of our staff.
